Meet Our Board Members

Brian Larratt
CHAIRPERSON
Pastor Brian Larratt has been a Board Member since its inception in 2009. He and his wife Barb have led their congregation at Gateway Christian Church for 20+ years. Part of his work encompasses extensive work in community addiction counselling, outreach work at the provincial Correctional, and serving as coordinator to a network of addiction treatment centers in Vietnam.

Gordon Braun
VICE CHAIRPERSON
Mr. Braun has spent most of his career in the Public Service sector as a writer of public policy, primarily in the health field. He has been a part of the OHS Board since 2010. Gordon has extensive experience on many Boards, including the South SK Community Foundation and the John Howard Society where he held various offices including provincial and national Chairmanships.

Barry Remai
TREASURE
For the past 26 years Mr. Remai has been co-owner and CFO of the Remai Group of Companies which is active in real estate development and hospitality. His duties include a wide range of financial and operational responsibilities. Mr. Remai’s past board involvement includes the Lighthouse Supported Living, Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Saskatchewan. Mr. Remai accepted his OHS nomination in 2020.

Rebekah Larratt
SECRETARY
Rebekah is a wife and mother who has worked with non-profits for twenty years. Rebekah loves to travel and specifically enjoys the culture and beauty of South East Asia where she has spent time working alongside NGO’s helping those in addiction, as well as children who have suffered loss due to poverty and addiction.
Currently, Rebekah works at Gateway Church in Regina as Director of Operations, and Liaison to their Missions work in Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines. She loves her job and loves seeing lives changed! Rebekah has been on the OHS Team since the beginning.

Jeff McMurray
DIRECTOR
Mr. McMurray is Executive Director, Advisory Services Risk Management for KPMG, specializing in IT needs for his client base. Outside of work, one of Jeff’s passions is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, currently holding a black belt. Jeff joined our Board in 2017.

June Draude
DIRECTOR
Mrs. Draude spent 20 years as Co-owner of a manufacturing business. She was elected five times as Member of the Legislature for the Kelvington-Wadena constituency, holding portfolios of Minister of First Nations and Metis, Minister of Social Services and Housing, and Provincial Secretary. She was given the title of Honorary Elder from Yellow Quill Saulteaux 1st Nations and received the Governor General Award for Innovation. June is proud grandmother of 8!

Wendy Gore-Hickman
DIRECTOR
Mrs. Gore-Hickman’s career has been devoted to the medical field as an anesthesiologist. She has been intensely involved with the addictions recovery community for many years, a member of the Saskatchewan Medical Association and a former Board member of Alexander’s House. She joined OHS in 2020.

Al Hilton
DIRECTOR
Born in Nova Scotia, Al moved to Saskatchewan in 1981 and made it his home. Al enjoyed a 35 year career in the Saskatchewan Public Service in progressively senior positions. Over the last 12 years of his career Al served as Deputy Minister responsible for several portfolios including Corrections, Public Safety and Policing; Government Relations; and First Nations, Metis and Northern Affairs. Al joined the Board in 2022.

Von Agioritis
DIRECTOR
Von, now retired, spent the majority of his working years as a lawyer in Saskatoon. His board and volunteer experience has always been in the sector that brings much needed services to our community members most in need. In recent years the tragic outcomes of problematic substance have touched he and his family personally, further driving his efforts. Von and his wife have called Saskatoon their home for most of their lives. They are the proud parents of 5 children and grandparents to 3.

Mark Soloway
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In 2021, Mark joined Oxford House Saskatchewan. Bringing over 15 years of management experience in the Not-for-Profit sector in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He has a deep passion for affordable housing, and for working with underserved communities and marginalized groups.
